acquiring
some very high-tech construction stuff through their subsidiaries. I'm no
rocket scientist, but the only thing you use a few K litres of liquid hydrogen
for is to launch orbitals! They've also picked up a considerable amount of
steel girders from UCAS X steel division, along with a whole host of precision
tools and instruments. What would DDI want with a 20 meter tracking dish you
might ask? Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it all
adds up to one big fragging satellite launch! ]<<<<<

regions of the Island.

either former employees of DDI and Magna, or
were natives with no previous political

On paper it looks like a legit republic, but to those of us who know better it
is a string of puppets with the real power being held by Quention, Tirandor,
and Trevor. Trevor may only be an ambassador, but he obviously is treated as
an equal by Quention and Trevor. I wonder why they put a bioengineer in the
cabinet. I suspect he may have been one of the labcoats behind "Alpha" project
aka Tommy Harada! ]<<<<<

Quention knows I'm here, he hasn't been seen in public for almost a week now.
He fears what will happen when I finally "meet my maker".
The locals appear to be constructing a huge launch tower. There is also a
large assembly building near the site where several shipments of parts were
delivered. I have been unable to infiltrate as the "army" has troops covering
the entire site in a quite thourough manner. The "army" appears to be DDI
security with the Omega flag replacing the DDI logo on their uniforms.
Only two corporations have moved onto the island since I've been here. One is
a new division of MagnaTech, and the second is a DDI division. The new DDI
headquarters is being constructed to resemble the DDI Manhattan complex, and
could very well become the new world HQ.
The people here seem excited about the new government. Quention and his
partners have brought an incredible number of jobs here. Incidently, the tax
rates are fairly high, but the incomes doled out by DDI and MagnaTech are
considerably higher than what these people were used to.
I will continue to report until I know more, or until I find my "Father"
