>>>>>[ We got the sarge out of the city, but not without a little trouble.
Quention must have managed to get some leads on the people we contacted,
'cause a squad of razorgoons armed to the teeth was waiting for us armed for
bear. The goon with the LAW rocket had OddBall worried for a while until he
ran him over at 65kph (heh). When we broke through their ranks, OddBall
dropped the back ramp and laid down some MMG cover fire while we deployed.
They didn't last too long. I don't think they were expecting a van to run them
down. We took care of them with only a few bumps and bruises and light flesh
wounds (gotta love that body armor). We got lucky, the squad had just got
there so our contacts were still OK. We turned the Sarge over to them, and he
should be *VERY* far away by now. A quick trip through the Matrix and his new
ID was official.

When we got back early this morning, I found Wytchwind lying in bed with a
nasty swelling around her datajack. Don't know what happened to her, but I'll
have to try and find out. I'm no expert at implant tech, but it looks like
there may be some problems with the "custom datajack". ]<<<<<

Quention's
people. I was getting attached to him! At least I got to feed him one more
time before he left! ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ After a little more decking today, I found a little more info on
one
Kevin Fung PhD. It seems that while working on his dissertation at Berkley
he took part in genetic experiments involving the HMVV virus. This study was
inconclusive, but after getting his PhD, he continued to show interest in HMVV
independantly, until he was hired by MagnaTech during the time when their
bioengineering research started to skyrocket. His knowledge of abberant
genetics made him a prime candidate for the Alpha Omega Project. He was
indeed on loan to Precision Arts for a period of time on a related project,
but I haven't found any more details about that yet.

I don't know how HMVV fits into all this. There was no mention in the clone
lab data about it, and I've seen no evidence that Tommy Harada has anything
that even remotely resembles HMVV. It is possible that he was chosen to head
alpha omega because of some success in his independant research. ]<<<<<

"speed
bump" last night! ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Well at least now that Sarge is safely out of Quention's reach
things
should start to return to normal around here (if you can call that normal!).
I'm looking foward to seeing what Tommy is going to do to Omega Island next!
I'll bet that Quention has been hiding like a scared child (no offense DOA)
at the thought of being Tommy's next victim! ]<<<<<
