"tricks" that I found useful when I was just learning (OK so I was still in
High School at the time). She'll be able to survive in the matrix on her own
a little better. In the next few days I'll be giving her some pointers on
Utility programming, she'll be able to pick up enough to start on some better
programs. In a few years she'll be dangerous, she really learns fast!

Terrorism Rocks New Country
The fledgling Omega Island Republic was staggered today by numerous terrorist
attacks on various construction sites on the Island. An explosion caused
extensive structural damage to the new sattelite launch facility being built
in the center of the island. According to project engineers, much of the
launch tower will have to be torn down and rebuilt, setting the project back
several weeks.
NewsNet reporter Jonah Whalen obtained an exclusive interview with Omega
Island's chief of armed forces and CEO of Dragon's Den International, Tirandor.
JW: Exactly what do these terrorist attacks mean for the future of Omega?
T : Well Jonah, Omega was founded as a peaceful enterprise, a national entity
that is independant of the failed ideals of the UCAS. Terrorism on our
soil so early in our international life is apalling to say the least.
These attacks are just sensless acts of violence on a peaceful nation.
I should not have a job in this nation. A nation founded on peace should
have no need for a military force, however, these terrorists have forced
our hand. We do not wish martial law, but are being forced to take up
arms to protect our citizens.
JW: Do you have any theories on what the purpose of these attacks are?
T : None whatsoever. We are no threat to anyone on the international scene,
nor do we embody any exclusionary policies that would incite extremist
groups to action. As I have stated before, these attacks are utterly
senseless actions of people that care only for violence.
JW: Do you have any comment on the rumors that these actions are the work
of a single person?
T : I believe that the terrorists have been spreading that lie in a further
attempt to instil fear. Their rationale would be that if one person can
do so much, there is no hope should the entire group act in concert. We
believe that they have been straining their resources as it is, and may
attempt to contract with outside help to continue. I have sent a list
of self-styled "shadowrunners" that we believe to be prime candidates to
the UCAS CIA and to Interpol. If any contact is made, we will demand that
these people be prosecuted as international criminals.

What do you think of that. Lies, all lies! We know for a fact that the
"terrorist" is really Tommy "the dragon" Harada, and unless he's been
recruiting local talent, he's working on his own. I'll give you two guesses
who's at the top of Tirandor's list and the first two don't count. I'll bet
my deck that most of us here are on this list, and that Tirandor and his buddy
Quention will manufacture whatever evidence it will take to put us on interpols
most wanted list. My guess is that we've come pretty close to uncovering their
plot, and they want us out of the picture before they're ready to make their
move. I think our troubles with agents on Quention's payroll are not over yet.
