must say, my endeavors in the Vaterland proved quite fruitful, but more along
those lines at a later point. I noted from the logs that despite the
absence of various members who frequent this BBS, activity was quite high.

Highlander: Once again, I express what I feel to be the majority sentiment, in
that it is a pleasure to see your safe return. One comment caught my eye in
the recordings of NET activity, that you noticed that "it is gentlemen who end
up staying home on Fridays"--that may well be so, but a few of those more
fortunate gentlemen have someone with which they may spend their Friday
evenings at home.

Harlequin: Indeed, mein Herr, Romance has not passed off this world. In many
locations it is vibrant with life; one is required merely to have knowledge of
how to create it. Further, permit a man who has experienced it to testify:
The sensation of "giving the ring and asking the question" can be unparalleled.
As my father once said to me, "I suppose, in its own way, Love is the most
powerful force on Earth."

Fraulein Brandywine: Actually, I was uncertain as to whe'er I would come,
until your (and Jaez's) request. It would be my distinct pleasure to be of any
assistance to you, so, please, do not hesitate to request something of me.

Fraulein Jaez: Jawohl, I shall be in attendance, as indicated above. I must
hearken you to the fact that if you have forgotten how to waltz, I shall be
rather cross with you. Also, I hope you do not think me too forward to say I
am quite pleased to sense the return of your exuberant loquacious self.

I shall pass your greetings on, of course, although I am uncertain as to
Hangtime and Herr Hack's status for their arrival in Seattle. Hangtime had
informed me they were trekking to the tropics, possibly the Caribbean, and
endeavoring to recruit a Rigger for their team. Hope springs eternal for their
