It has come to my attention that the corporations and governments of the world
are engaged in a conspiracy, a conspiracy to hide the secrets of their research
and knowledge from the common man. I have researched their secrets, culling
nodes the world over and analyzing such periodicals as the Neo-Anarchist's
Guide to Everything Else, Time, Newsweek, and People. The following is the
information I have uncovered in my quet for truth.
Boosted Reflexes -1
Essence: 1 Nuyen:20,000
Originally designed for the suppression of hyperactive children, Boosted
Reflexes -1 actually reduce a character's Initiative Rating by 1 die. For
most folks this means they have their Reaction as their speed. Unlike other
forms of speed enhancement, BR-1 is compatible with other forms of increased
reflexes. The nastier corps implant them in captured 'runners to take off the
edge, Of course, the drunken Street Doc has had a hand in passing these out,
but the SR community has "chastised" these wayward physicians. . .

The Grapegun is a party favorite among the Shadowrunning elite. Commonly

Consuming this allows the user to stay awake an active for a number of hours
equal to twice the rating.
Espresso Machine

Only effective when using Starbucks coffee, the espresso machine gives
the user the effect of Wired Reflexes X, where X=the rating of the machine/4.
The effect only lasts as long as the effects of the coffee: Cooper, using his
rating 3 Starbucks coffee in his rating 4 espresso machine, will have the
effects of Wired Reflexes 1 for 6 hours. Always round up.
Orichalcum Bullets

Bullets made out of Orichalcum. They may be enchanted or kept as
collectors item/investments. Hand-crafted!

New Elementals
Steam Elementals: Creating by forcibly mating a fire and water
elemental in manifest form, Steam elementals are a volatile, schizoid mix
of two opposed elements. This forced symbiosis between two opposing states
has driven them mad, making them useless for anything but making a nice cup
of tea.
New Totems
In an effort to find new ways to disguise agents and assasins, the
CIA and FBI have poured Gigapulses of money into the research of the fringe
of shamanism: Food Totems. By following such Totems as Spam and Milk,
these agents can work undercover as caterers to large political
parties and affairs, bringing them closer to their targets.
Spam
Spam is artificial, light, created by the homogenizing process of
modern technology. Spam favors the indoors, with tin walls. Spam
may be disgusting and stupid, but he's always there whem you need him.
Environment: City
Advantages:+2 dice on all Health spells; +2 on any spells that alleviate
hunger. +2 dice to summoning city spirits.
Disadvantages: Spam is dusgusting and gross. Furthermore, as he is
already the product of technology, he is not averse to taking
cyberware. He must begin the game with at least 2.0 Essence
worth of cyberware.
Milk
Milk is related to the Cow totem. Bringer of life, Milk aids in
nourishment, but in the counrty. Milk dislikes the city. Thick and
luxurious, Milk is typicall largely built but well-proportioned.
Environment: Farmland
Advantages:+2 dice on all Health spells
Disadvantages: Milk must exist in her natural state to be fully
functional. Homogenization and Pastuerization weaken
her magical potential. Milk will avoid heat. If exposed to
temperatures of greater than 90F, Milk will curdle and will
temporarily lose 1 Magic Point per hour until taken into
the shade, whence she will recover Magic at the same rate.
