I can't add much to the debate about the copyright laws on story lines, but
I'm curious about the laws that might apply to creations that appear on
Shadowrn or Shadowtk. Stuff like new cyber/bioware? And what about
character names and backgrounds? Even if it's all considered public domain,
failure to get permission on stuff like that will almost certainly affect the
desire of people to post their ideas to the boards, which would be a bad idea.
