While investigating Hostess, Inc for the allegedly using less than the
UCAS RDA of certain vitamins and mineral, I uncovered a plot to make the average
soldier ten times as formidable than his opponent, without magic, without
cyberware. This would have been all well and good if the research was meant for
Our Side, but as we all know, Corporations sell out to the highest bidder. I
had to stop them.
After obtaining clearance from my supervisors, I used my Initiate
skills to invisibly sneak into the area. The background count was enormous-

or the nuclear hot spots left in Europe. Cautiously, I made my way to the
computer system.
I stealthily downloaded a file a took it to Jaez for decrypting. It
seems that used a nearly unbreakable code, one based on Oliver Stone's locks
on his personal datafiles. I believe Jaez has already incorporated it into
her encryption routines.
What we found was that Hostess was researching an item of vast
potential power: The Mocha Donut. As you know, according to the UCAS census
of 2052, breakfast is statistically the most important meal of the day. Imagine
the power unleashed in a well-trained soldier, awakened at the crack of dawn
by the hint of baked java, after he eats this double whammy. I know coffee
and I know donuts, and the two together pack enough power to light up the
Renraku Arcology. I've since forwarded the data to Headquarters, where they
will decide what action to take. In the meantime, I've set up a surveillance
team with snipers on standby. We may very well end up raiding this temple to
