Subject: DE to Jaez: about DDI in Manhattan

>>>>>[ Hi Jaez, it's good to hear that you've been running the nets in my
home
town. Interesting that you couldn't find the link to DDI's Manhattan complex
system, it was sitting in an obvious location on the Manhattan corporate LTG
a week and a half ago. It could be that they've either moved their SAN through
some ridiculous routing path, or have simply opted to operate by channeling
through the system on the intrepid by way of their satellite uplink. If that
is so, the only way in to DDI NY is through the Intrepid's system.

How did you like the Trump datafortress??? It's pretty big huh? They've got
at least four crosslinked systems running in their NY world HQ. The only other
system in the city that's that big is the Akaru Corp system! ]<<<<<

Heh! I bet that DDI didn't expect one of my "false leads" to be to the UB!
I'd rather not get involved with them, but I thought it would be more fun than
pointing them at another bar!

I've only recently heard about the Yoshida kidnapping. I wish I could help
out, but I've been busy down here in Omega. It is possible that he's being
taken here, but I can't figure out why the Omega crew would want to stage
such a high profile hit. It's not their style, but I can't rule out the
possibility just yet.

Nightstalker, Kat, and I are working on a major virus to run on the Omega
datafortress. It should slow them down and give us the diversion we need for
our next op. The problem is we have to get it to a CPU to run it effectively,
and they've got themselves serious IC, even for me! I'll keep you posted.
Can't say what the next op is going to be, even through encryption, it's too
security sensitive!

Raven TM, sorry about spiriting Nightstalker away. We need his talents down
here, and the info he has from his walk through the Omega datafortress.

Wow, we've seen some real action down here in Omegaland. We made a lightning
raid on a supply depot early this morning, and Delta Epsilon along with
Harada and crew blew the place up. We met mostly ground troops with a little
armor support in the form of an armored half-track with a pair of mounted
assault cannons. Well, the trucks I rigged up here aren't exactly as good at
combat as my trusty battlevan (too bad it's still in NY) so I couldn't take it
out directly. I went to ramming speed and rammed it in the side. That's when
Jake dumped a gas grenade and some bullets into it's now open door. With the
armor down, Tommy took his squad in and showed them what it means to be the
baddest vatjob on the block.

I'm glad we didn't have to wipe the .5 track, I just put a new door on it and
recalibrated it's rig and I've got a machine I can do some damage with! Twin
mounted AC's can do wonders to helicopters, I wonder if I can fit an AVM
launcher in there too... : end encrypt>> ]<<<<<

Heh, OddBall likes his new toy! The supply depot didn't look like anything
major. There were supposed to be satellite parts stored there according to
our intelligence, but all that was there were some construction stuff, a few
cases of ammo, and a really nice expresso machine. Took the ammo and the
expresso machine and blew up the rest. Funny thing was that after the place
blew, it started raining ball bearings!!!! Truth is stranger than fiction
folks! : end encrypt>> ]<<<<<

Well the raid today went well, Sycthe and I handled the magics, he with a pair
of nasty katanas (physads get all the fun) and me with the fireballs and the
three fire elementals named harry! (hey don't knock it, I like the name)
All I have to say is that the expresso machine was worth the trouble! Do you
have any idea how hard it is to get good coffee on a tropic island!!! No more
soycaf for this band of rebels! : end encrypt>> ]<<<<<
