>From the incredible number of notes I've received in the last couple of
hours, it seems I have to "reevaluate" my stance on these encryption headers.

This is a proposal that I would like you to consider and follow. It will
allow me to much more easily deal with editing problems:

------

Sample post:

***** Encrypt: Alpha Gamma Moo-Goo Gai Pan
>>>>>[As you can see, the "encrypt" key is preceeded by five
asterisks and
a space, making the word 'Encrypt' appear over the first letter of text in
the posting.

Now, when you get to the end of the message, you DO NOT need to 'end
encrypt' anything. Simple end your post normally. Encryption can be
assumed to be turned off at the end of the transmission (makes sense).

For messages that contain some encrypted info and some not encrypted, it
looks much better anyways if you were to seperate them into two postings.
Makes sense if you think about it.]<<<<<

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
