>>>>>[Uh, Trilobite, there's one small problem. I just saw the Intrepid in
the
harbor about 15 min ago. I asked Napalm to do aqn astral check in case it was
an illusion, and it's the real thing! I think they left you a decoy out in
the middle of the ocean for you. They've been loading lots of gear aboard it,
and it looks like they're going to move it. From the background count, Napalm
says that there's some serious ritual wards being placed on it, and a second
magical attack probably won't be effective. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Fraggin' corpers! Quention and his cronies escaped on a private
jet!
By the time we got to the airfield they were too far away to take out. The
government is in a shambles now. Quention, Trevor, and Fung slipped away from
us, and Tirandor hasn't been seen in days. The Intrepid is still alive despite
attempts to sink it, and they're getting ready to pull out with most of DDI's
military equipment and enough magic to fry a city! There are rumors that some
mid-level military commander ordered the massacre yesterday, but it looks like
he's just taking the rap. Our job is almost done here, once the Germans get
here we can formally place Marcus' government in power and come home in time
to see the wedding (Hey Doom, any chance the Imperial navy will let us hitch
a ride??? Oh well I had to try!) I talked to Rob Kelton a few minutes ago,
and he seems to have the full story. He wants to set up another broadcast
in an hour or two explaining just what the frag has been going on in the past
24 hours. We'll see you on public Trid then. By the way, that was a nice
shot of Cowboy on the news yesterday, too bad it had to be under such horrible
circumstances. ]<<<<<
