The reason that I listed essence loss for were's getting bioware
is because in Shadowtech the rules state that magically active characters
lose essence as well as body index points for implanting Bioware. All
were's are magically active (they are dual beings) therefore they lose
essence, and of course Magic when Bioware is installed.
We did have one other option discused for the body/essence cost of
bioware, and that was to declare that they had to have it cultured, cost
was 4 times normal for cultured bioware. And they would lose double the
Magic Points a la an Eagle Shaman. Just thought that I would give you
guys some of the options we discused.

P.S. The idea of having a dual being in the party at first sounded real
cool. Now there is no way that anything could ever sneak up on us in the
Astral. Well there is one big disadvantage that goes along. Any time you
run up against a mage who is astral they can ground out any spell they
want to through you. Unless you kill it in astral space, all your budies
are going to keep getting those Firebombs, and ManaBlasts exploding from
you. AND YOU CAN NEVER GET OUT OF THE ASTRAL. This is the real killer
because in most cases any corp can have half a dozen wage mages on your
tail in the Astral, but they can't do to mutch to you if there is no
astral connection. Now they just keep droping area spells through the
were which said were can not possibly stop all of the spells. It is a
truly nasty thing to do.

Have a good summer, I will be loging of the list for this summer.
