>>>>>[ It was only a matter of minutes before we got to Meyers. When he
stopped shooting through the door, we burst in to find him throwing a rope
ladder out of the window. He got off two more shots before Jake knocked him
out, and they went wild anyway. Napalm was busy tying him up when the rest
of us noticed someone cowering in the corner...

...it was Dr. Kevin Fung, aka Frankenstien 2054. He was just sitting there
curled up in a ball, drooling and muttering something about bats. He must
have been the person Meyers was going to meet with when we arrived. Fung had
clearly lost his mind. I asked him why he created monsters and he started
rattling off facts and figures about biomechanics and the metastability of
recomined viral strands, whatever that means. It was the only lucid thing
he said, and it was Greek to me anyway.

Jake saw him when he started speaking, raised his AK and took aim. "It's
payback time you monster..." he said.

Napalm ran over and put his hand on Jake's shoulder and said "Easy Jake,
we'd all like to see that, but we have to do this one right."

"He's right pardner, we gotta bring these two in" said Cowboy. I just nodded
my head when Jake looked at me and it was enough. He lowered his gun and said,
let's get them out of here before someone tries to shoot us again. We all
agreed on that one, we had all taken some hits and weren't in any shape to
argue.

Well, at least I remembered where we parked! Don't worry CoHort, it didn't
get banged up too bad! I personally think it looks meaner now, but you'll
get your repair money in a few days. Right now, we're on our way to the
Yoshida tech building, where we'll deliver Meyers and Fung to Joseph. He'll
pass them on to Lone Star, or whatever law enforcement agency wants them.
Since the Death Knights never started up again, I guess we won't find DE
dead at his deck when we get back. ]<<<<<
