>>>>>[I feel like shit, but am coherent enough to post this now. First,
Chains
assures me that there are no homing devices on any of the stuff we collected.
Whether or not there are any mages capable of tracing our toys, though, remains
to be seen.

Those "things" that attacked KHANx are unlike anything I've encountered before.
They almost seemed to be some kind of mage creation. Fighting them was
something like fighting elementals, but easier in the astral. I don't think
KHANx' bullets were very effective against them. Yet one more wee beastie that
can only be harmed with magic. O happy day.

Legion, if you can get Nitro to stop licking your wounds for a minute, can you
tell anything about the healing properties of this bracelet? I can't. Some of
the other goodies, though, are remarkable. They seem to be rather highly
charged foci or spell locks of some sort, though the only exposure to this kind
of magick I've had is through a few Eurasian friends. Another tie to Mongolia?

Now let's discuss that little astral spat, shall we? Nitro, Ragman, and I had
our hands full from the start. My elementals were destroyed almost immediately,
and the mages were giving us all we could handle. If RM and I hadn't double
teamed that one guy, I'm afraid Nitro would look more like a charcoal briquette
than the lovely lady standing before us. I thought we were going down, but then
FraterNay arrived. AS TWINS! I've seen her astral persona before, but never
anything like that. And Kendra says she was glowing? I know magickers are
radiant, but that's beyond the usual. Kendra, was she using the wire focus at
the time or what?

Once again, many thanks to the cyberboys. You gents can cover my ass anytime.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad to be leaving San Francisco. It's
rather like a jacuzzi - it was exciting to be in at first, but after a while,
it just didn't seem so hot.

Next stop, Seattle. *snuggling up to Prophet and quickly falling
asleep*]<<<<<
