>>>>>[You think this could be the same thing? Don't worry about secure
channels. It seems pretty obvious that if this 'thing' is what it appears,
it won't matter, and if it isn't, we'll (that is, anyone who's interested)
will just kill it if it tries anything. I hope that mage friend of yours
can be of assistance; I'm starting to feel decidedly edgy. Also, you might
want to look up a friend of mine by the name of Whiskers. He's about the
only mage I can personnaly trust, and he knows the mage (I think his name is
Stormrider) who saw this thing, much better than I do. Don't bother lookin'
into the other mage that was there, Yancie. He's become a little... shall
we say... antisocial? To the extreme?
A couple of things I might have forgotten. I don't know if this
means anything to you, but I think that 'guy' wearing the tattered robes was
also wearing a mask made of ivory or something. Mean anything to you? Oh,
and we found a couple of old books in the cave where we found the 'portal-
thing' and the dead dragon. Don't know what they were, but they weren't in
any language I've ever seen. Come to think of it, it wasn't long after he
had looked through one of those books that Yancie started acting... goofy.
Anyways, let me know what you find out.
One more thing, you can reach Whiskers at this LTG number (I'm at
his place right now, he stepped out for some Krill-filler 'n Atomic-slushies,
or whatever you call those things. Never could see the fascination in them.)
Later.]<<<<<
