that my bar is now open !!
It's called the The Runner's Rest, ok so the name is corney but what I'm hoping
to do is get the tourist element upstairs in the main bar and the real runners
downstairs in a rather select bar with specially sealed rooms ideal for the
meet with the Mr Johnson. Before you say, I'm not going anywhere where tourists
hang out, just hear me out.
The idea is to promote the bar officially as a place for runners to hang out,
now your poor unsuspecting tourist will be conned and come to visit the place,
however Lone Star and others that care will see the place merely as a tourist
hole, not the sort of place that any self respecting runner would go for a
meet. Hence it is the perfect place for a runner to go and meet.
There is special access through the basement of the Indian Restuarant next door,
Mr Sadiq the owner is So Ka and will not ask any questions. Or there is an
entrance through a lift if you have a special access card (available from Me).
The lift also serves the upstairs which house, 6 rooms with bathroom etc, all
high standard and a small medical centre with access to a Doc should you need
one, and of course my own pad is upstairs.
The tourist bar is fairly standard though I've hired an old Troll who used to
be a runner many many years ago to help give authenticity, there is also a
large number of shadowy alcoves to further enhance the atmosphere.
Downstairs, is where the real buisiness takes place, stocked with a small
selection of English beers (Powerhouse's insistance) and lager (IBA's
insistance) and all your local favourites. Weapons checks are compulsory and
I've the best tech to make sure it is. People with cyberguns will also be
required to wear a shock bracelet. The area as a whole has at least one
elemental guarding the place and a well trained cadre of 5 security staff,
are on standby at all times.
Each of the conference rooms are warded and contain bug jammers, secure matrix
access, the works. No expense has been spared.
So if you want to meet somewhere safe but different try The Runners Rest open
now in Dowtown Seattle. ]<<<<<

Well ok so maybe we do tend to overlook hazard number 2 as it is only really
hazardous if one of the women find out :) Oh what did everyone think to my
methods for picking up the chicks, you should have all seen it, especially
after Nightstalker showed it to Raven who preceeded to download it so that
everyone could read it. Oh by the way Nightstalker, don't show Raven this one,
remeber what happened last time :) I still have a copy of that program.
