>>>>>[I forgot to mention one last piece of my dream. I discovered how
we can make pretty explosions. In the real-world maze, set up gun
turrets in rather random locations. This greatly complicates the
strategy behind the RL part. (I'm thinking that the gun turret chooses a
target randomly if more than 1 exists.) In addition to keeping track of
where the enemy and the objectives are, one must also remember where
"hornet's nests" are, because they do have the ability to wreck one's
day. Now, think about this scenario. Decker A runs into an ambush set by
Decker B. Decker A punches the evade program and starts heading toward
back the way he came, at full speed. Decker B follows. Decker A has run
across a hornet's nest of 3 guns earlier in the game, and maneuvers
towards that area. Decker B is still pursuing. BAM! They come upon the
hornet's nest. Decker A races through, stops, spins, and blows up any
turrets that are attacking him. Decker B, surprised, tries to turn
around without slowing first. He flies into a wall and explodes as the
remaining turrets keep shooting. Oh, and for big bangs, we could just
rig a bit of C-12 to detonate when the craft is disabled. That ought to
ignite the fuel tank... Boy, I hope these plasteel walls are REAL
strong...]
