main Hawaiian chain; according to certain records, an old vidshow called
'Gilligan's Island' was shot there. According to certain other records,
it gained full Matrix access only eight years ago, and was purchased by
a small corporation as a 'controlled environment' four months after
that.
Unfortunately, the story doesn't stop there. Apparently, according to
some certain corporate rumormills, the small biotesting firm that had
bought the island was actually owned by an unnamed major megacorp run
out of Denver, just through about four holding companies and two
separate individuals. The corporation went through a major
reorganization about two years back -- I was out of circulation at that
time, so I've no idea what was going on -- and the chain was broken, the
biotesting firm sold, the island changing hands.
I can find .no. records, .none.at.all., of who currently owns the
island; either the island is not owned at all, or else the records are
hardcopy -- or else somebody has enough money/power/influence to get it
buried so deep that it'd take years to dig it out.
I will say that the island's got a Matrix setup second to none I've seen
this side of the Pantheon; fortunately, the Pantheon no longer exists,
thanks to certain efforts. The island is also a biotech research
facility, the old buildings still serving their purpose quite well. It
would .seem. that they were trying to figure out how William'd been
sculpted, but don't take my word for it.]<<<<<
