I shall now try to explain to those of you not part of the Circle what happened
the other evening, though I doubt I'll be able to give it even remote justice.

The timing of the Druidh was, of course, impeccable. Having Amelia in the
Circle enabled us to maintain constant contact with FraterNay, and Nitro was
always visible to The Ragman and myself in astral. When the fauxcus was
destroyed, we took that as our clue to move, and fast.

At that instant, Amelia cried out, and those of us close to FraterNay actually
felt the molecular shift in her foes as she cast her signature spell. The
Ragman let loose with one of his "maggot mana" spells (I'll never understand
him!), and Nitro and Legion attacked with their power and mana spells.

I was chosen to be the _ganje_, if you will, working with L'yenthl. When he
felt the slight shift in the ley (caused by FraterNay using _that_ spell in,
of all places, here), he drew his blade and extracted blood from both my palm
and his. Mixing them together, he added powders from his belt pouch (contents
unknown) and a red vapor cloud enveloped us both.

I heard a voice, as if a million miles away, telling me to cast. The only
spell I could think of was my signature, and so I used it. It's never been
so lethal before. Suddenly I was surrounded by those who I recognized as the
Druidh, but their Astral Projections had taken on hideous form. L'yenthl
somehow managed to call to Amelia, and Amelia somehow managed to block
FraterNay, Nitro, and Legion, creating a semi-unconscious state. The whole
of astral space seemed afire, and those not prepared for the battle were
slain quickly, painfully, and mercilessly. Never shall I doubt the devotion
with which the Drui defend and protect their homeland and their friends.
I remember it all so vividly, and yet like a dream. The one unsolved, and
unspoken, question is what happened to the T'Hoth leader. I remember
him coming toward us in the Astral, and then a large draconian form appearing,
and then he was gone. Not only from Astral, but from the material plane as
well. Could the stories of the Drui protecting the Lochs and their inhabitants
really be true, even to the extent of water-draco-beasties?

L'yenthl chose to use one of the non-Druidh, me, for two reasons. First, I was
closer to FraterNay than anyone else there (except for Amelia, and she has
been initiated as an acolyte. Surprise, surprise!), and two, the magicks of
the Isle would react more strongly if the blood of a non-Druidh were used.
That may have even been necessary for the calling of the dragon. I'm not sure.

I now find myself torn between two worlds. I very much wish to return to the
Sprawl, to my home, my trinkets, and my lifestyle, but I have been offered a
place in the collegium here and entrance into the Grove. I do not know if I
could stay here but for a while, and then return to all of you. We must
discuss this, as friends, with Amelia, L'yenthl, Mie'lyn, and all of us. Let
us celebrate tonight. There are many decisions to be made on the
morrow.]<<<<<
