This is Charlie Fingers coming from the Metro Courthouse where today began the
presentation of evidence against Dr. Jackson by the Prosecution. But before

....In a bizare turn of events, just prior to the presentation of evidence by
the prosecution, the Judge informed the jury and the courtroom that due to the
multi-national and multi-corporate nature of Dr. Jackson's presumed criminal
activities, should he be found guilty he would be sentenced according to the
most severe penalty for each guilty conviction delivered. When no objection
was put forward, Dr. Jackson spoke in hushed but obviously irritated tones to
his lawyer, after which he stood and requested a new lawyer as this one would
not carry his wishes to the court. At this, the Judge politely informed him
that it was too late to request new counsel at this juncture.
