Sisterhood od Ariadne (magic circle)
The sisterhood is a dedicated group, its member limited to women who are
WICCANS. Wiccan is another name, some say the true name, of the religion more
commonly known as WITCHCRAFT.
Thats what FASA say about witches - they are wiccan - This, from what little I
know, is basically correct. The term witch is just a corruption of the term
wiccan, because of the wonderful misunderstanding of pagan rituals and such
Witches got a bad rap, and many strange and horrible occurances where blamed on
them. Also, common folklore of the day and lack of knowledge has added rumors
to what witches are like. If you really want to learn what Wiccans are like -
look in your local bookstore with a good NewAge section.
Oh something I just remembered - Wiccan and a few other of those old time
religions (give me that old time religion) are making a come back in todays
society.
