should doubly benefit from your demise. "Let loose the Hunting Fiends, to tear
courageous heart. Let them kill, with blood running wild, for stakes that are
the world" That, I'm sure you know, is Alexandris' The Elven Poets second
stanza in a poem called The Hunt. How appropriate, you might think. Yes, I
accept your wager and double it. The fair Diana has made me a wager also - one
I could not refuse. I have grown quite enhanted with her. Wisdom, knowledge,
and passion are so seldom seem together. She is quite beautiful. I'm very
fond of her.
Oh, what wager you ask. Quite simply this: She so believes in her friends that
she bet me they would take you down. I wagered that they couldn't (ironic is it
not). Ah, the prize you ask. Just this - if she loses she must marry me, if I
lose I must never bother her family or friends again, and must use my noble
weight to get Action Jackson a diplomatic immunity from the Tir Council (thus
he would forever be safe from prosecution). Such high stakes.
I'm looking forward to a spring wedding. AJ tell me your daughters preferences
and such . . . I need to know.]<<<<<
