>>>>>[Whew.

As of 7 months ago, the Column Mark-4 was the most sophisticated
cybernetic/electronic device in existance.

Aren't YOU glad that the technical revolution works on weeks these days?
Sure you are. Makes you feel safe and cozy in bed at night.

A deadhead has 'lots of extra room' like a human body has 'unnecessary
cranial tissue'. In one of KDI's 'Morgan Freeman' deadheads, there's a
decent amount of 'spare space', yes -- mainly because Morgan Freeman is
a cyberdrone designed to give a quadripalegic the illusion of free
movement.

On the other hand, KDI's latest wardrones (which the Mechanic had
.better. not gotten) have no space whatsoever -- every spare cubic
centimeter is taken up by muscle, armor, speed enhancers, onboard
weaponry, and hypersensory gear. Gyroscopes went out in 2037 with
the advent of the neuromuscular inertial microprocessor from Winter
Systems of Manhattan, which KDI's improved to never-before-seen levels
of efficiency.

Mssr. Wizard, I'm glad to hear your emphasis on knowing everything there
is to know about every deadhead that's been designed. It means that my
security is still operating.]<<<<<
