>>>>>[ Here's what happened with Furry, sorry Transformer but we were
already at
the library when your message came over.

Well we met at the library again, it seemed like the best place to meet on
campus for a gathering and magic. I got there with N'Ralan, who had been
working all weekend on his new spell, and a friend of ours, Tealla. He said
that it would have some difficulties, but it would work. Brandy and Sierra were
already there. As were Red and the lady I assumed to be Tael. Furry looked
physically about the same as before, but seemed to have more life about him as
he rested in Tael's arms. Tealla, wanted to hold him for a little bit since she
had not yet met him. It was rather cute to hear him purr and coo as she talked
to him. Meanwhile N'Ralan seemed to be preparing himself for his part in
helping Furry. When I asked Tael what she had done, she said that she had
basically helped Furry cope with what had happened to him. She told me that
much of healing is, is wanting to get better and good thoughts.

N'Ralan finally seemed to be ready for his part of the healing. One strange
thing was that his cloak looked different than when we came in. Before it had
been just a well made black cloak, but now I could almost see patterns on its
black surface. He gently took Furry from Tealla who gave him a good-luck smile,
and started to talk to him for about a minute. Then he started saying in a
weird dialect of Sperethiel that I really didn't understand much of, though I
did catch 'Spirits' and something about being as you were truly meant to be.
With that, I got this chill down my spine, like I could almost feel the magic
beginning to work. Then it was almost as if a breeze had come up from behind
N'Ralan. I could see his cloak moving forward and pressing against him while the
edges rippled slightly, obscuring our view of Furry. Soon, the tingling stopped
and Tael murmured something that I didn't totally hear, while N'Ralan's cloak
settle normally to the ground. Then N'Ralan's eyes started to roll back into
his head. Red grasped him before he really started to crumple, and I was able
to cradle Furry before he slipped out of N'Ralan's grasp.

Red took N'Ralan over to one of the chairs and Tealla, Sierra and Brandy went
over to see how he was. I looked down at Furry and was surprised to see that he
looked better than before. His fur looked more healthy, and he seemed to move
more energetically than when I had held him before. Tael came over then,
touched him lightly and said "It looks like part of the ravages that he has been
through have been removed. He is still marked by what he went through but it is
not as damaging as before." It was then that Furry asked me if the N'Ralan was
OK. I swear it!! He really didn't make any noise besides a few purrs and coos
but I somehow knew that he was asking about N'Ralan.

I guess my surprise showed up pretty obviously on my face, because Tael said
"Good, I see that others will be able to understand him now. Before he could
only talk Brandywine and myself. He should get better at is as he continues to
heal and us it more." Then to Furry she said, "Don't worry little one, he will
be all right, he is just tired from healing you." Looking back at me she
chuckled, "You know, I think he likes you." With that comment I got the
definite impression of a 'yes' as an answer, and a 'Goodnight' as he moved in
closer to me to go to sleep.

N'Ralan woke up about half an hour later, looking tired and slightly drained,
but happy. He took a moment to check on Fuzzy, who was now sleeping in Red's
arms. Thats about all, N'Ralan had a head ache for the rest of the night, and
Furry slept through the walk back to the place Red is staying. See ya all
tomorrow when I know that I will be getting a lot of questions. I probably
won't answer any till friday since I will be very busy tomorrow.]<<<<<
