Raven set up several frames for me before we left-just in case, you understand
(no, she's not paranoid, really). They're designed to activate if anyone
started looking for us, and mimic the signature of my dumbterminal or
STREETWOLF's gear. Bait to trap whoever was so curious.
Not to put to fine a point on it, the TNO authorities got that curious, and
triggered one. And they swarmed the place real-time with cops.
And we bugged out, pronto.
Everybody's okay (I know how much you care, sweetheart). Sabre took a slug,
but he's fine-Val patched it right up. Guy knows what he's doing, even if he
is a pansy-er, pacifist.
Anyways, make sure that Duster gets the message first thing in the morning. I
want the Whale put to sea by noon today. We're gonna need her stealth gear.
