***** Thank you Silverflame, but no. I have no real need to stay in the Tir
over the holidays. I shall most probably be joining my roomate and a few
friends on an winter holiday to Tir Nan Og. He has relatives that he would like
to meet and would also just like to see the country. It shall be interesting to
enter Tir Nan Og legally, instead of the normal entering without permission.

As to parenting, I doubt that I could be of little help to you since I am merely
twenty years old. What advice that I can give only pertains to mine and others
early experiences as children. The first is that being on what many call 'The
runn' can be stressing to a young child. The second is that children can often
be harmed as a result of the actions of their parents. The lack of children
their age can also lead to discomfort in social settings and a lack of
understanding of other people. Lastly, the death of one or both of the parents
can cause severe phsycological trauma to young children.

As to how one should deal with a newly found teen-age child, I would suggest the
most important thing is patience and understanding. One should probably stear
clear of trying to control teenager since they will possibly already resent the
absence of the new parent from their early life. Instead, one should rather try
to be a friend and somewhat of a 'big brother' who will watch out for them and
do things with them. Leading them by example is much better than just telling
them no. Most importantly though, let them form their own opinions about things
but give them yours so that they have a wider basis of knowledge. Most of all
though you should just be yourself and do what you think is right. *****
