Subject:	The attempt that Solitaire and friends were talking about

In a short word or two, Solitaire almost got killed, we got surprised, Cerise
showed up and "saved the day", and we all left(relatively) unscathed, including
the assassin.

I showed up late and found battle already joined, so I'll cover what I got
second hand from them first. AJ showed up first at the old abandoned parking
lot where we had agreed to meet him. I guess he got out of the old Hudson that
wasn't a Hudson(weird car..., but totally wiz) and just stood there waiting
for Solitaire and Silver. They showed up shortly and got out of the car that
Silver borrowed and I guess they all met and said "hey." I don't know for
sure, I wasn't there yet.

Well, they said that when they turned to hear my bike comin down the ramps some
voice said "Well, Solitaire, you have led me on quite a chase. But it ends
here." Kinda forboding, wouldn't ya say? Well, there was this tall elf,
dressed really gaudy, with a staff of some kind, a katana and a pistol at his
side. Well, as you can imagine, Silver knew who it was(or at least suspected)
and Solitaire isn't any slouch in the brain department so she had a REALLY good
idea too. Everybody's favorite assassin come a callin!

This is where things started gettin a little...uh, hurried. Silver and
Solitaire pulled guns and AJ just went after the guy. Good god was he fast.
I saw him movin while I was comin in. AJ is a quick guy, as is Silver(for a
big troll anyway..Sorry Silver, but it's true{weak grin}) but the assassin
just moved like the wind. AJ was goin for the car at top speed, saw he wasn't
gonna make it, and then popped his spurs and went after the guy. All the
while they were closin, Silver and his built in cybergun SMG were sprayin the
guy. Or tryin to anyway. Seems he was avoidin almost everything Silver sent
his way. Then AJ and he were too close to risk hittin AJ.

Oh, almost forgot(comes from not being there yet...sorry)! You know that staff
I mentioned? Well, the dude used it to blind Solitaire and AJ(almost got
Silver even through the cybereyes) and then later used it to blast AJ's pistol
out of his hand when he was moving to the car and before he could fire it.
That's the other reason he went for spurs.

But when the guy and AJ closed, it was wild(I hear...I'm almost in the combat
zone at this point...but not quite). Silver was draggin a still flash-blinded
Solitaire off towards AJ's car, but never made it. AJ and the assassin were
goin at it, spurs vs. that staff of the guy's...until AJ actually disarmed him
of it. AJ says that it hurt like a son-of-a-slitch to do it too, but that's
when thing's got not-so-hot for AJ as the guy was some sort of martial artist
(big surprise...) and started using his ability here to toss AJ around and into
a suddenly manifest Water Spirit. Splash and there went AJ, engulfed. This
is where I came in.
