>>>>>[Well, so much for the bleedin' "we'll conact to you each
day" rubbish.
Never Believe A Looney - Me.

We entered the cave to look for some more of these carvings, strange thing was
that the place 'ad warm air currents. The Doc said that was the norm around
'ere. (Bollox.) After scrappin around, Bruce uncovered a 'idden door, took us a
bit to open the git. The old native bloke was starting to rabbit at Bruce, who
inform me that it's nothing important. (Bollox.) The doorway lead to a narrow
passage way which at about five foot intervals had a carving of a creature.
The old bloke started gettin real scared like and refused to go any further.
Bruce talked with 'im, but to no avail, we pressed on *sigh*.

Even I could tell that the cavern we entered 'ad a magical presence, an' I'm
cybered to the nuts ! :) Bruce bein' an ex mage ('e's burnt out, you know)
waved 'is 'ands around in a merlin like manner. Dead sudden like, he lets out
a big shout of joy and rushes over to a niche in the wall and reached in ....
(Bugger) 'e stops, an' very quietly calls me over. 'e's holding a amulet, one
of his own, an' there's this blue-ish light surrounding a large carved stone
knife thing in the crack. 'e meditates for a for moments and tells me to swap
the knife for a focus in his bag, real carefully. So I do it, well life's to
short an' all that crap, as the two objects pass each other, they take the
form of the other! The Doc looks real please with 'imself and steps back. Oops.
(At this point, I 'ighly recommend any would be adventurer's sidekick to invest
in Wired Reflexes, yes folk they can make the difference !)
The stone Bruce was standing on shot upward, above him six blades sliced out of
the walls. My, 'ow quant. The designer never obviously considered cybered
indviduals nickin 'is gear. I drags the Doc orf at cybered running speed
'urlin' down back towards the enterance. You know, I think people in the past
where alot slower, cos I recon that most of the falling stones, shooting darts
and scything blades would 'ave made soy-bergs out of 'em.

Back at the enterance, I 'ad a few words with my beloved boss. The old guide
bloke took one look at the stone knife and start chanting some sort of
prayer. Then came the first bizzard. Nice all that snow. Really. Orf again now,
the Doc wants a quick word. Git]<<<<<

uncover this bizzare mystery. Oh and get WHAT to stop calling me Doc, he can
be a right pain in the fragging arse sometimes.]<<<<<
