I've come into possession (no need to explain how) of a pair of manuscripts
which purport to be left from the fourth world, with some translations of
the ancient language. By the way, the common language of this past age
(If you believe these papers) was a varient of a language now lost to us,
Dwarvish.
I've found one translated legend of this time which speaks of insects taking
over people for their own purposes, until they were discovered and erradicated
by the people of the time. They apparently operated undercover, pretending
humanity, until they were discovered.
This bears a fearful resemblance to the information we've seen here regarding
insect totems and their current activities.
But this is the LEAST of what these lost tomes say... They claim that as
magic increases in the world, a level will be reached where FAR worse
"Horrors" will enter our world, and devastate it!
I wish I could believe that these were false documents, but the place
they were found, along with the security for them, would indicate an
exteme concern for them by the holders. I fear they may be true.
If so, certain parties have been concealing this information for years,
to the detriment of all. WHY?]<<<<<
