RENRAKU ANOUNCES NEW VICE PRESIDENT
<Seattle> Late today, Renraku officials announced that they had hired a
new vice president to replace the departed Ms. McClure. The new vice
president, Dilbert Jones, a specialist in increasing productivity, was
recently deported from Uganda for human rights violations. Jones said,
"I am happy to take over the position. Ms. McClure wasn't the right
person for the job - she was too soft, too loose with the money. Renraku
workers are no longer as efficient as our competators workers. That is
going to change. I am pleased to become part of the Renraku corporate
family." When asked about being deported for human rights violations,
Jones smiled and said, "their productivity went up 75% while I was
there. I heard no complaints from the workers while I was there. The
deportation came as a shock to me. I wasn't doing anything wrong."
Other bystanders at the announcement didn't seem quite as happy as Mr.
Jones. A Renraku executive who asked to remain nameless said, "This is
about the worst thing that could have happened to Renraku. Jones may
improve productivity, but he kills the moral - and often the workers."
Company officials also implied that they are no closer to finding Ms.
McClure's killer and are still looking out for her.]<<<<<
