<Chambana> Today, in a rare occurance, there was a gunfight in Chambana.
The house of one Harld Extemlar, a researcher for the Jerrick
corporation, was the site of a gun battle about 9:00 last night. When
the police arrived at the scene, they were shot at by three unident-
ified gunmen, and two were killed, three wounded. The gunmen escaped.
Found at the scene were the body of Mr Extemlar and two more
unidentified men. There was evidence of magic use found at the site.

Mr Extemlar was fifty-four years old, and was determined to have died
from a gunshot wound to the head. He leaves behind a wife and two
children, both of which have been missing for the last seveal years.

Both Mrs Extemlar and the Jerrick corporation had no comment.

That was Solonus' Dad. From what I've figured out, he was working on
some Paranimal when he was killed.

Of course, that's not the worst part. I haven't heard from Solonus
since he left, the other day, to go find out what was going on. I'm
worried.
