>>>>>[ Greetings, Pat, agus failte go dti na scamail!! 'Tis Diarmuid Mac
Aoghusa here, in Portland, at present, but I shall be returning soon. I
just thought I'd leave a quick note to tell you that I'm afraid you're
wasting your time if you wish to aid the good Mr. Ramirez in his attempt
to combat the so-called artificial intelligence construct known as MONICA.
I have already congenially offered my services, but he sees fit to reject
the help of someone who has had more experience than most others in dealing
with hostile (and lethal) Matrix presences, such as the Virus of '29, and he
deems the expertise of someone who was on the team that designed the
equipment he is using to be of little help. I have a feeling that he shall
reject the help you offer in a similar fashion. Personally, I shall be
watching his progress with interest.
By the way, your t/d stamp doesn't seem to be configured properly. Try
rebooting your deck with the t/d setting set to European configuration, and
then switching to the UCAS config, with `-'s instead of `:'s. That should
sort out the glitch.
In any case, give my regards to STREETWOLF and Valentine, if you see him.
You can tell them I'll probably be back in Seattle by tomorrow evening. I
am currently engaged in some work for the Tir, but I should be finished by
tomorrow. Until then. ]<<<<<
