frag with one, the other comes over and the result is spectacular. As everyone
else has noticed, the systems don't seem to notice they are there, and the only
reason we do is we go by our senses rather than by processing delay. We have
been having problems with them too, but posting one of our deckers in every
SAN full time seems to be working for the time being. They just kill one off
every time they see one. But if the programmer is any good(and from what we've
seen so far, and what I suspect), this will change and they will begin to
ghost by us too. Then we're fragged. Hold it a sec...

This system is really HUGE! And really.... well, it is standard iconography,
and you are in an SPU. With you is a very large peice of Black IC, and it
just seems to be ignoring your presence. Either you belong here, or Solitaire
is running in Masking mode. You suspect that you belong here, as this is a
system none of you has ever seen before.
Your positions seem to be changing as you rush headlong through node after node
after node. Yep, and you KNOW that this is Central's system, because with all
the matrix security you see, no megacorp would drag down thier processing
ability to just keep data this secure. What you suspect, from the IC and the
node construction, is that the entire system is Red 6 and higher, with lots of
Black and Blaster IC. And that doesn't include the constructs that you have
never seen before. Or the Mil Spec Expert IC. This system makes some of
Fuchi's look mild. But for an arms-running group, and an intelligence
gatheringorginization, you really aren't that surprised.
Until you stop at a SPU just outside a SAN. You suspect that the SAN leads
outside the system to wherever you are located, and that Solitaire isn't anywhere near
stupid enough to let you know that... But you see a set of frames, two
angels, two demons, and a ghost(you haven't seen a ghost before). One of the
angels is a cherub, a nude boy with feathered wings and a halo, playing a
flute. Another is a standard angel, with a long, flowing robe, golden harp,
halo, and wings too. But the first demon...ick. Leathery wings, scales, brown
and black with red, glowing eyes. And the other....that's even uglier,
especially since it's obviously female. Distended stomach, spines running down
her back, spiked tail, short, useless wings, and her teeth punching holes in
her cheeks. UGLY! The ghost inside is cloaked in a grey robe, with only it's
chin showing in the light of the Matrix. Not the eyes, nothing besides the
chin, two bare and nearly skeletal hands, and booted feet. You look at them,
and then Solitaire takes off again.

You see what I mean? I'll let Junk take care of them this time.
To answer you, I think Dante is back. CB posted all that drek, and it follows
his mind. Sick, ya know? And all these frames fit well into the idea of a
Divine Comedy reality filter. But if the deck is still in Raven's place,
nailed to the wall, then where are they all coming from? Anyone trace them
