>>>>>[Yet, Maddoc, there is a point to which your ideals of centralized
control
lose efficiency rapidly. A unit of trained, fanatically loyal people does have
its advantages...however, in my various encounters in Milan and the rest of
Western Europe, a loose, comfortable group of individualists can accomplish
much more at a greater pace than your system. Cooperation, rather than orders,
are key. A rigid hierarchy only goes so far. If you fall in combat - and I
trust and hope it will not happen - then from what I gather none amongst your
group are fully capable of leading. You seem to organize hierarchies. I,
on the other hand, choose individuals of my own caliber to assist, and I have
watched groups similar to mine take 90% casualties (excessive security measures
were taken by the opponents) and survive. It is crucial to learn all you can
about your opponents, and therefore "local talent" is exceptionally important,
as you seem to have overlooked.

Your group fights like ants, almost. A queen that rules them and drones that
carry out orders -- flawlessly, I will admit, but they carry out orders. I
would much rather 'run with a group that is totally individualized and yet
polished and loose and free and cooperative. Regimentalization crushes
individuality and through that free and independent thought, which is so
critical on 'runs.

Meet you in the shadows.]<<<<<
