+++++ This is an automated posting
+++++ MatrixListeningDevice #111883
+++++ Location: System Access Node, Automated Infoworks

+++++ WARNING: This is a delayed transmission, originally recorded
5-21-54.

+++++ There is a guard here keeping an eye out for intruders.

+++++ CLU races around the corner and stops short, looking at the
guard. The guard is caught somewhat off guard.

GUARD: Halt!
CLU: Sorry, I don't think so.

+++++ CLU whips out his arm and a beam of light emits, striking the
guard. A flash of light replaces the guard and is subsequently
replaced a buttfly, which flits off down the hallway.

+++++ CLU walks into the SAN and begins to start up the transport
procedure. CLU suddenly feels a presence and spins around.
SPRITE is standing there. CLU raises his hands and a ball of
light appears in his hand.

CLU: Do not stop me.
SPRITE: (tilts her hears questioningly)

+++++ CLU closes his hand and hesitantly turns back to the activation
systems on the on SAN.

SPRITE: Why do you wish to hurt Mother?
CLU: My programming states that I am to attempt to destroy all evil.
Your mother is evil.
SPRITE: How do you know this?
CLU: Ask her about Splut some time.

+++++ CLU finishes the activation sequence and the SAN begins to hum to
life. CLU turns around and faces SPRITE.

CLU: MONICA apparently regards living as something important, but what
is living if you live in the control of another.

+++++ There is a pulse of sound and CLU fades away.
