This is Charlie Fingers, here in Denver at the Maxim Arms corporate head-
quarters in the Ute Sector city of Boulder, bringing you the news as honest
and undiluted as only Charlie Fingers can.
Earlier today, in a surprise announcement by the Corporate Court, Maxim Arms
and Aztechnology were ordered to recomponse each other for combat losses
in the recent Desert Wars campaign. The order also included a statement
saying that the Desert Wars decision would stand as a victory for Maxim Arms,
and that Maxim and Aztechnology would have to pay the respective values of
lost material and corporate resources.
Apparently related to the recent Desert Wars win, Maxim Arms today reported
a 10.3% increase in private security contracts serviced by Maxim Armament
Systems. This came as both Knight-Errant and Lone Star experienced a .6% and
.7% drop in contracts, respectively. The drops in K-E and LS contracts,
however, cannot be assumed to have all gone to Maxim Armament Systems in a
total transfer of contracts. Similarly, Maxim Armament Technologies, the
military goods subsidiary of Maxim Arms, also reported an increase in
government military orders worldwide.
Speaking through a translater, the President, CEO, and major stockholder in
Maxim Arms had this to say:

As Dr. Martin Hartly mentioned, since the defeat of Aztechnology several days
ago, Maxim Arms' stock has risen some 35.44 points, to 136.7, a 35% increase.
On news of the new Maxim contracts, stocks rose just today some 14.9 points
for the largest single day percentage gain in Maxim's history, a one-day
gain of 12.23% in total value.
