I know I have been out of touch for the last several months (it suffices to say
that we arrived in Germany without incident, and Hangtime and his crew went off
to vacation in God only knows where) but honestly there has been nothing new to
report until now. I have to admit it's been one of the purer forms of Hell
watching and waiting ... We were all hoping he would just "snap out of it"
sometime or another.

And I want to express my fondest and most sincere thanks to those who stepped
forward and offered their help, plus the many private messages of support, they
have helped me endure the past months.

But all of these efforts seem to have been in vain, for all the appeals to the
higher powers, those of Christianity, Thaumaturgy, and the Medical Sciences,
Doctor Doom, my husband, is apparently dying ... his life force is just
slipping away. His physicians tell me he could last an hour, a week, or he
could even suddenly wake up, but the indicators are not promising.

I thought his friends and associates should be among the first to know. I
promise to keep the ShadowLand community posted as things occur, or as they
change ... for better or worse. ]<<<<<
