ceilin and scooted around until we found a nice big duct leadin up towards
the roof. Luckily, I had planned a quick, emergency escape.
You know those Nightgliders? The black merc gliders with the electric
turbofans and drek for a signature? Well, I just happened to have one around
the area. I'd set it up for remote circling about 300m from the site. It
took a little time, and WHAT was gettin REALLY nervous by the time it arrived,
but it took us out of there. I had rigged it earlier for runnin with a bulky
cargo and two additional straps too. Our total mass was well below it's
capacity, so we had null-difficulty regardin escape.
The only problem is that now I have to clean the fraggin paint off the
glider surfaces and re-bore some of the engine parts. The vertical take-off
for a rapid escape slagged down some of the supposedly heat resistant parts.
But all-in-all, it was a good run. They might not even know that we were
there, but all the same, I'm keepin a low profile till I'm sure they aren't
somethin bigger than they seem. See ya all later!]<<<<<
