Greetings again from the continuing drama of the GridLink power system of
Boston.

My name is Charlie Fingers, and here in Boston the Gridlink system that had
previously been half down and resisting all attempts to be re-started finally
crashed totally today. GridLink had no comment on the final failure except
to mention that they thought it was an externally planted computer virus,
planted by a competitor vieing for the transportation contract that GridLink
currently holds in the Boston Metroplex.

Following more news in Boston, the local hospitals that were affected by
glitches and problems have reported that the power surges and failures have
been repaired.

But late last night the airport reported a sudden re-booting of the final
approach radar and guidance systems that remains unaccounted for. This
resulted in two near-misses and the injury of some 20 passengers on various
airliners as the pilots were forced to suddenly maneuver to avoid collisions.

There have also been rumors that the local branches of Knight-Errant Security
and Mitsuhama Computer Technologies have had recurring power and heating
problems in their respective facilities. The two corporations involved had
no comment upon being asked.

I'm Charlie Fingers. Until next time, enjoy our wild metroplex news.
