Velli: Sir, we have a problem.

Moriarity: What do you mean, Nicole.

V. We have analyzed the downloads and the intelligence we were
provided by AJ and the physical recordings they provided us.
There is an excellent chance that the Bundesamt Fur Innere
Sicherheit, or the BIS, and Interpol's Special Branch have
documents that prove the connection between Maxim Arms and The
Orginization.

M. That would place us in a very difficult position. Can the
mobilized forces remove the proof, and soon?

V. Absolutley. Our agents in Germany have located all of the
documents that the BIS has in its possession. They have been
moved to an ultra-secure vault in Berlin where the amount of
security that the BIS can guard them with is limited only by what
the residents will let them get away with.

M. And Interpol?

v. Whereelse would they take them but to Special Branch
headquarters in New York? Our agents have again located them,
down to the vault Commander Drake ordered them sealed in, and the
base is on high alert. Our units are ready to hit them on a
moments notice.

M. Excellent. Who is coordinating the efforts?

V. I had thought to send Diana, AJ's daughter, to the New York
outlet to coordinate there. And AJ himself has offered to run
the Berlin attacks. All I need is your permission now and
everything will be set in motion.

M. One more thing: What's the threat ratings of the respective
targets?

V. Interpol Special Branch, 42%. Commander Drake himself, 46%
BIS: 39%. Hammer himself, 48%

M. And the effects of the operations?

V. The respective threat ratings of the orginizations will drop
to acceptable levels. However, there is an excellent chance that
the individual's ratings will increase as a result, eventually
dragging the rating of thier orginization up as well. As you can
see, both individuals are already marked for death, so when we
attack, both individuals will be primary targets.

M. I dislike ordering the death of anyone, but I guess they have
violated the Security Protocols, and those I cannot change.

V. That is correct, sir.

M. Very well. Begin the operation.

V. Excellent. However, sir, I ask that you hear me out before
ordering this. I have additional intelligence, recently acquired
from our agents in the Court, that may have bearing on you
decision.

M. Of course. What is this intelligence?

V. Today, at precisely 13:34:28, the Big 8 petitioned the
Corporate Court for a mandate to conduct unlimited operations
against Maxim Arms and all its holdings. Sir, The Omega Order
has been requested against us.

M. What? Why?

V. The petition, of which I have a copy, mentions various
reasons, but the most damaging is the "potential for
destabilizing the worldwide operations of the signants through
indescriminate use of intelligence assets." This implys that
they know very well of our relationship with The Orginization.
By the Security Protocols, this also raises thier respective
threat ratings into the 40+% category and requires an immediate
mobilization of forces.

M. Bloody hell! I want to know where the frag they got thier
data from, by this time tomorrow. I don't care how many agents
you have to ask, or what danger you put them into. Get that
information. But I refuse to allow Maxim to mobilize. If the
order goes through, then we sit here and take it. I won't start
Crystal Night. I'd rather let Maxim fall and The Orginization
too than see Crystal Night go into effect.

V. I'm sorry, sir, but unless you order the mobilization, I have
the authority to remove you from your Presidency on the basis of
the Security Protocols, section 34.88.4a. This section also
would declare you a Security Risk to be neutralized and I would
be forced not only to remove you from your position, but to kill
you as well, and then order the mobilization.

M. WHAT?! Let me see that.....Hmmmmmmmmmm FRAG!

V. I recommend you reverse your position, sir. Your death would
serve absolutly no purpose and Maxim will need your leadership if
the proverbial drek hits the fan.

M. I.....don't like this......not one bit. But since I have no
deathwish... Velli, I order you to initiate the full
mobilization of Maxim Arms assets. As per the Security
Protocols, this is the list of what must be done:

1: Delay all outbound shipments due to "parts recall
difficulties" and whatever other excuses are necessary
2: Channel all current production into personal use and
distribute appropriately
3: Keep all NightRaven, SRDF, RDF, Military, Security,
Aerospace, Magical, and Matrix combat units on full alert.
4: All employees are to carry weapons until ordered to stand
down.
5: Issue Mobilization Alert.

Velli, I want you to arrange a meeting with the Big 8 Presidents
immediately. For as soon as you can, get them to a neutral,
guarded location. Use whatever levers you have. Just get them
there. Then go and tell them the way it is and ask them to
reverse their positions. We really don't want to have to go
through with this.

V. Yes, sir. And the protocols for The Orginization forces,
sir? You have orders for them as well, I believe.

M. Yes, yes... As per Security Protocols, issue "Clouds Paint
the Sky Blue Black" for immediate mobilization. Full alert is to
be maintained in the event of Crimson Sky.

V. Orders have been issued, sir. The first recalls of recently
shipped goods have been issued, under the "recall" protocol. I
will contact the Presidents of the Big 8 immediately.
