yesterday. Ah figured that some of ya who couldn't make it would like ta know
what went on, mind ya that this is most only about costumes and main events,
there was plenty Ah left out. Claw and Ah did most of the set up work, with
Claw setting up a rather nice magical haunted maze that was rather popular. One
of the first people to come was Kor, painted up to look like a leopard, a rather
big and tall leopard with long black hair <grin>. His surprise was a small
catering truck with various meats and korean vegetarian fare.
AJ and his crew came next, and Ah was able ta get a good picture of them.

A gathering of people near a door. The fore-most facing the camera is dressed
up as an elf with Green eyes, redish hair, a matte-black 'cyber arm' and fangs
<AJ - as The Nexus>. Next to him is a good looking woman dressed up in gypsy
waif clothing <Diana - as Solitare>. After them is a tall woman, with black
dyed hair, a pendant, numerous rings and bracelets, skin-tight black jeans, dark
green silk blouse, brown leather flight jacket <Roxxy - as Diana>. She is
poking a ninja, covered head to toe in black with a sword and all the requisite
goodies included <Slash - as ninja>. The woman is also leading a very small
little girl, dressed up as a kitty cat, by the hand <Adrienne - Roxxy's
daughter> while the little girl stares up in amazement at Kor in his leopard
paints.
Claw and Ah took that as our cue that we needed ta get ready. Ah left ta put on
more clothing, more precisely, mah good ol' south'rn Bell dress, the nice low
cut white frilly dress with the white parasol. Claw came back wearing much less
clothing, considering he was only wearing a woven skirt, anklets and a head
dress, with his spear he looked very much like a zulu warrior. And Ah must
say, he was more colorful than his normal black on black on black motif.
By that time Roxxy was being dragged a second time through the maze of horror by
Adrienne. Also, a few more guests had arrived, Streetwolf, looking like in Mah
thoughts, as a tall version of the Vampire Lestat (Blond haired vampire), and
his wife Colice - the Nova Rocker from Tir Na Nog, dressed in a white nurses out
fit, though the lacey stockings over her legs definatley would keep people from
thinking she was the Florence Nightengale type. Over by the punch bowl was
Cerise, all dressed up in leopard skin skirt and halter with a short sword and a
necklace made of teeth, sort of like a girl from one of the Neal the Ork
barbarian films. Escorting her was Highlander in his Dr Who outfit, long scarf
and all. It really wasn't a costume for him since thats what he wears normally,
but we let him get away with it. The fact that he brought two 12 year old
bottles of Glen Livet from Scotland might have helped his case.
After a little while a few more people showed up and Ah was able ta take another
picture of most of them

This crowd of people are gather around a small tub watching Kor dunk his head
onto it bobbing for apples. Besides Diana and Slash, there are a few new comers
watching. One is man with silver-black hair dressed in a toga with purple
edging and a crown of olive leaves <Dark Angel - as Roman Senator>. Next to him
is a woman in the garb of a princess from before the dark ages <Patricia - as
Celtic Princess>. On the other side is a tallish dwarf in a steel? breast plate
carrying a large axe <Irish - As Tolkein dwarf> and with him a young and pretty
elven girl carrying a bow, and wearing green huntsmans garb with a black belt
and a small knife at the waist <Erika - Irish's ward - as Tolkien Elf>.
Of to one side are two of the redheads, one is CB in her Southrn Bell dress, and
the other is shorter and dressed in a green Victorian gown, complete with
paniers, corset and a green umbrela <Cat Dancing>, both look to be picking on a
dark skinned man who is dressed in a very threadbare scarecrow outfit <Lister -
as poor imitation scarecrow>. Dying of laughter next to them is a pert but
cute maulato woman dressed up like Dorthy from the wizard of Oz <Kichanski>.
Its rather a site to see to.
A little later, as people began to loosen up and eat some of the food, is when
the Williams clan came in. Spirit was dressed up as a pirate captian, completer
with cutlass and parot. CRUSH was in a poofy white shirt with blue breaches, a
cutlass at his side and a kercheif covering his hair. Besides his first mate
out fit, he was also carrying a rather large chest under his arm, a chest with a
rather special treasure, their twins, all dressed up in miniture pirate sailor
gear. Behind them was a friend we hadn't seen in a few weeks, Sheena (the
second Nova hot rocker ta show up that night) dressed up in a kimono and looking
every bit like a Japanese Geisa.
Thats when Ah got everything going by pushing both Colice and Sheena up front ta
the music area so that they could entertain us. Ah figured that we had what
most people would consider ta be one of the best acts of the concert-touring
year, playing for us for free!! They of course put on some great improved
performances and were joined a few times by StreetWolf who often acompanies
Colice.
Raven (the mage) and Nightstalker came in during the performance, both of them
looking like very upwardly mobile Corp'ers. Stalker was the exec with the
mirror shades and Raven was the assistant with briefcase, both of them had the
stylishly matched pocketsecretaries that every corp'er needs. Tommy, their
ward, was with them and dressed in 'mage robes' complete with the stars and and
a pointed hat. Wolf 359 and Ramirez were also able to show up but weren't able
to find any costumes, something which Diana and Roxxy fixed (the two victims
finally did give in and relent to the altercations) by changing Ramirez's
clothing to Renaissance garb and Wolf's to that of an a adrmiral from the old
old old show - Star Trek (the last was Spirit's suggestion). Plus, though some
of us didn't notice, a guy (ta be named later) came in wearing a Death costume
and was followed by a small black cat. The reason why Ah mention it is that we
couldn't figure out who it was.
As the girls were winding down, T.C. showed up as a Samurai in silver with Sabre
(as a ganger in the green and black leathers) and Masque (dressed up as a corp
complete with suit, power tie, ornamental sword, and staff) in tow. Behind them
was a person who we able to truly meet, except virtually, at the last party,
Quickling dressed up as Princess Leia - a character from an old but good Sci-Fi
trid-movie called Star Wars (the Sci-fi station plays it every so often). She
had her hair up in the swirls, and was wearing the white robes, plus she even
had a gun that looked just like a blaster pistol.
After a bit, when the party was inta full swing, and the girls were done
entertaining the folks, Spirit introduced her Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate
Fudge Chocolatety chip explosion, ah dish that went over very well, especially
with Raven (the mage) and Cat Dancing. We then had our biggest suprise of the
night when Lister and Nightstalker were kept on trying ta figure out who the guy
the death suit was. Thats whene he removed the death costume ta show his flashy
neon suit and wonderfully painted face, the unmistakeable features of our friend
presumed dead, Harlequin!! Of course, he near was lost again when CRUSH swept
him up inta a big hug, Ah think Ah heard ribs creaking under the loud cheer of
"Harlequin!!" and his responding grunt of pain.
After that, the party went very well. Ah few of us got ta talking about out
missing friends Raven, Spot On, Solitare, Collussus and Powerhouse. Mostly we
talked about the good times and fun we had. Ah think it really helped ta have
others there with us remembering them. It was Halloween, and also Samhaine, the
feast of the dead, so we gave up a toast ta our missing companions and went on
like they would have wanted us ta.]<<<<<
