Subject: The maelstrom sunders... (finale - part 3)

>>>>>[ Sigh. This is the wonderful finale. It took me a while
to find footage for any of it. It is pretty confusing. When I
slowed the footage enough to look, it would appear that there are
at least two additional shadowrun teams in the vicinity when our
team came out. Plus there was the added bonus of "Knight Errant"
being on the scene. That mystery cleared itself up in a hurry.
I didn't catch it while it was happening, but it makes plenty of
sense now. The last presence involved was Doc Wagon (tm). But
they barely interfered in the whole situation. They for most
part - well, I'll let you see it and evaluate it for yourself. I
unfortunately, had to start when they exited the building as the
footing in between the entrance of the mines and the way out was
so bad that it wasn't even worth it. Among other things the fire
alarms went off so all the sprinklers were going off. In
addition the temperature was rapidly screwing up on the side of
being overly hot.

Highlander comes backpedaling out of the doors. He is firing off
his Manhunter as quick as he can. Cerise is following right on
his heels. Both are showing signs of fatigue.

Cerise: Oh drek!
Highlander (almost falling down the main stairs): What?!?
Cerise: We got a lot of company. Take a look around.

Highlander looks around and swears. One by one the group members
come out. With all the fighting that has been going on, the few
identifiable people are: Cerise, Highlander, Blitzkrieg (dragging
Kor), Brandon, DragonEyes (barely walking in his own right), as
they emerge they get rushed by a bunch of people carrying riot
shields. Whirlwind, dragging the bizarre corpse of Crashkit gets
ignored by the mob. Suddenly someone cries out, "You are all
under arrest. To spare yourselves, hand over Crashkit."

Whirlwind snarls, "You want the fragger, have him!" He proceeds
to throw the corpse at the person who shouted it. The whole team
is quickly mixed up between the officials, and other
shadowrunners.

Suddenly, a helicopter, marked as if it belongs to the FBI
arrives on the scene. And it starts to approach the center of
the riot. Doc Wagon's choppers on the scene open fire at the
first chopper. Another chopper comes to the FBI's helicopter's
rescue. In the many missiles that are flying, a several
helicopters (at least four that you can count) are downed. Some
are from Doc Wagon, one is the FBI chopper that tried to pull an
extraction you guess, and one is the local pirate trid station
that I originally took the first media release from. In
addition, some jokers from the first chopper let off a bunch of
smoke grenades. By the time the smoke clears, the one unmarked
chopper has gotten away. In fact, you note the only people
around are the officials, and Doc Wagon (tm) paramedics.

The last shot you see is of one of the melee people left standing
there wondering what happened. You can see Crashkit's corpse
sitting at his feet. You also see his emblem quite clearly. He
is a member of the FBI. As the image fades away, you see several
trucks arriving that belong to the FBI.

+++++ Video ends.

Well that's what happened. Really strange and scary. I think we
were extremely lucky. I haven't done a complete count of heads
yet they sort of scattered to the four winds. I expect in the
next few days we shall know the truth of that matter. Confirmed
deaths are Crashkit, four hell hounds, Neon Dancer, one of Kor's
friends, a bunch of elementals and nature spirits. Well, I need
some sleep before more work. May justice be served in return for
all the deaths Universal Brotherhood has caused. ]<<<<<
