If any of you have read Gibson's (I think) _Burning Chrome_
one of the stories has a cybermutt in it known as a Slamhound.
A really nasty piece of work. Some how the thing is able to
track a person through a city by only his scent (I believe the
trail was a day cold). Once it found the poor fragger, it bit him
and exploded, icing him into so many pieces they had trouble
trying to clone him. I'm trying to figure a way of getting this
to work in SR. Any ideas?

Problems I see are training it. To be quiet. To detonate the bomb.
Keeping it sane. Keeping it on the one target (oops, there went the
fire hydrant and the pedestrian *grin*).
