we found on the island. It is very strange, definitely not an insecticide.
First, it is very heavy, uhm, dense, you say. This is because it has much
iron in it. The iron is bound in a semi-organic molecule similar to
heme in structure (heme is what carries oxygen in the hemoglobin protein
in blood). This gives the powder the red color. Also, there is an jod,
uhm, iodine component to the molecule. It is very complex. Also i
found another residue which indicates a propellent of some kind, probably
a chlorflorocarbon, but it was almost completely degraded. I think it
just oxidized in the air. I think this thing must have been an aerosol
propelled powder or colloidal suspension. It is too heavy to be a gas.
That is meaning it was sprayed directly onto the target. The last thing
i found so far is very complex. Some organic compound. It might be like
a small protein, but i need to analyse it more to be sure. I will work
on it some more and get back to you.]<<<<<
