>>>>>[ This is Galle, Sri Lanka. My name is Innagoddadavida; I am a combat
decker, and I used to live in Chicago.

When all of the drek went down, I thought I was going to die. The buddhists
that I found myself with for the past couple of weeks say that I had made
peace with my death, and became a true warrior; I think I just didn't give
a frag any more. I went out hunting the bugs, trying to save other people,
but killing as many insects as I could before I finally died. Obviously, I
didn't die.

The reason is, I guess, because I found people -- a few of them, not many
at all -- that were there to hunt the bugs, too. The first one I found
called herself Kali; I figure her to be a street sam, maybe some kind of
courier. She always carried a pack of chips with her, swapping them in
and out every few hours hours. She said that, if she died, for me to take
the pack, get to where she'd hid the rest of her gear, and make sure that
the chips got out to the real world.

She's wired for simsense, see. And she put herself on constant record.

We both got out of Chicago, but not before seeing what Hell must be like.
Over the next few days, I'll be uploading to all Shadowland echo stations
the contents of Kali's chips; while with those buddhists, we worked on them,
refining them and all that. Guess you don't need to be a genius to work that
stuff after all... more or less. A lot we've cut out; the important things
are there, what's gone on in Chicago.

We're alive; a lot of good people aren't. Kali stayed with the buddhists,
said it was safer, even if she had to live in seclusion the rest of her life.
I have other people with me; Styx says she's okay, Markuus and Bluerazor tell
their families in Omaha that they're alive and safe. Mario stayed back, but
something tells me he knows more than he told us, even though that was a lot;
maybe I'll see him again, maybe not.

In any case, have fun experiencing. It wasn't fun living it. ]<<<<<
