>>>>>[Mr. Lanier, sir, it has come to my attention that a certain
"Mercury" is planning to raid the Fuchi-Boston computer system. As you
are very well aware, the entire Matrix system in Boston has crashed.
Mercury, among suspected nameless others, have come to the conclusion
that the "demons" loose in the Boston Matrix are, at the bare minimum,
being harbored by elements withing Fuchi-Boston. At worst, we are in
some way responsible for creating them. This, as is obvious, could be a
nightmare for us. At the bare minimum, this will be a public relations
nightmare and President Villiers will be put in a bad position with the
Japanese. At worst, this could be reason enough for an Omega Order,
especially given our current lack of power on the Corporate Council on
Zurich-Orbital. And I am sure you can imagine the many "in-betweens",
sir.

My recomendation, sir, is to contact this "Mercury", a decker I believe,
and let him into our Boston System. Obviously we purge any and all
sensitive information regarding other operations. This is a given. But
it is my analysis that we must give him this access so that we can prove
that we have nothing to do with the "demons" in the Boston Matrix. And
if we DO (God forbid) have even the slightest link with these constructs,
we need to purge and destroy any and all evidence therein. We cannot
risk being connected with these "demon" constructs in any way. I further
recomend that we assist "Mercury" and his "friends" in cleansing the
Boston Matrix. Doing so _could_ be very advantageous in the long
run...]<<<<<
