At the foot of the Fuchi Star 5 figures fade into view. The method is similar
to something nolonger being hidden.

Phantom: Hmm, wasn't sure whether it would work or not. But the cloak seemed to
fool them and the images over their friends worked wonders.

CB: Ah rather enjoyed it sugar, lets do it again sometime.

In the background, Spirit removes a strung bow from her never empty pouch and
fits an arrow to it. Around the arrow is a parchment. She draws back and aims
high up the side of the silvery construct. The bow releases and the arrow flys
up and passes harmlessly into the construct. A minute later a window opens and
a rope ladder descends.

Highlander looks specutively at the ladder, then shrugs and begins to climb up
the building with his intrepid companions in tow.

Once inside, the area looks like a normal SPU with SAN attack at a weird angle
to the outside. Leaning against one wall is Silvery man with no face, his icon
reflects the area around him but distorted by his form. The identifier appears
again, this time in dripping metallic ink, Mercury.

Mercury: Took you folks a while, I was beginning to worry, when the arrow
landed at my feet. Neet trick, I especially like the ladder that appeared when
I grabbed it. Well lets get going, I've got codes to get us past most of the
security, there's only two that we have to worry about, Fuchi is being helpful,
but not stupid. They figure we would have to prove we are good enough to know
if Lucifer is here.

The deckers continue on through the Matrix, often going to the CPU for the area
and locating as far along as possible. Finally they come to a large crackling
barrier guarded menacing Samurai, though you have seen pictures of them before,
this construct seems darker than normal.

The group begins to ready weapons and various cloaking programs.

Transformer: I CAN DO IT!!! I can sneak us past!!!

Mercury looks specutively at the young but talented decker, then motions him
forward. He also hold out a data cude from his hand.

Mercury: Here's the pass-codes we already used, they might give you an easier
time.

Transformer then takes a large crystal out of his chest, it baths the group in a
rosey light. Soon the crackling barrier forms a hole in center and the group
moves on through. On the other side Transformer hangs back for a second to make
rather rude gestures at the samurai's back.

Something is not right though, the Samurai turns around and looks at Transformer
with eyes that are now glowing an evil red.

Transformer: Oh boy.

Samurai: You shall die to please my lord Lucifer. HAHAHAHAH

The Samurai rushes through the barrier right at the gapping Transformer, the
other deckers where further along and won't be able to help him before the first
rush of combat.

Transformer: *gulp*

He draws his gun and fires. It bounces harmlessly of the Samurai

Transformer: mommy.

Suddenly a blade appears sticking through the front of the samurai's chest. It
looks down in utter surprise and then the red light dies from its eyes and it
disapates in a fractal pattern. Behind it can be seen a Ninja dressed in black
with a blue sash. He casually cleans the program fragments off his blade.

CB: Nightstalker, Ah was wonderin when ya were gonna show up sugar.

Nightstalker: I wanted to make a grand entrance. We had better get moving.
The alert has sounded and Lucifer will know we're coming.

The rush off down the data stream. It seems to be growing darker.

Highlander: You, if Lucifer has invaded the system that would mean he probably
has infested it which would mean Hoh boy.

With that Highlander throws a silvery mechanical sphere down the hall. He is
just in time for the demons have begun jumping out of the walls. The ball
explodes in a flash of plasma, incinerating the demons and clearing a hole
through them.

The group rushes on through. Spirit pauses to through a small potion at the
approaching horde. A wall of flame springs up before the demon horde and icons
can be seen rushing into it and being burned away. Mercury looks at here
inquisitively.

Spirit: Its an independant immobile area-effect attack frame held in an
auto-executing decompressor. It won't last for very long.

The run on, the demons still appear and the group of deckers begin to look
rather harried as the fight while moving forward. They stop. A large demonic
looking gate bars the way and in front of it is a huge demon holding a nine
headed whip. It begins to laugh at the puny humans it sees before. It just
barrs the way, letting the deckers be crushed beneith the charging demonic
horde.

Highlander: Transformer, CB - help me with this. Can you guys hold of the
uglies for a bit.

a LARGE gun suddenly shimmers into existance infront of Highlander. Transformer
turns into a tripod for the gun as Circuit Breaker begin to integrate her
circuitry into it, almost as if she will be a power supply. Highalnder takes
out a smaller gun and a thin laser light appears on the large demon.

It stops laughing. The gun tracks to the laser. Highlander smiles. The gun
lets out a howl and a huge beam of arching plasma streaks through the demon and
the gate he was guarding. The beautiful sound of crystalized code can be heard
tinkling as it hits the ground.

Looking back, the rest of the companions are fighting furiously against the
demons. The attacking demons pause for a second to ajust to the fact that the
large one is dead. Its enough time for the deckers to sprint through the open
door into the main CPU. The blast door slams shut behind them.]<<<<<
