The CPU is empty of any activity. The systems hum quitely in the background.
The group looks around suspiciously, while a few run medic programs.
Transformer: There ain't no one here!!!
Mercury: Looks can be deceiving
He melts his hand into one the displays, the room shimmers and a different image
appears.
An evil deap voice sounds: NO!!!! I'm am so close!!! YOU WILL DIE!!!
A humoungeous mishappen figure shimmers into being. It looks as if it is
splittnig into people for from the rear of the thing another face, arms and
chest can be seen appearing. It screams in rage. A large spear appears in its
hand and is lauched at Mercury. A large hole appears in his midsection and the
spear pass on through into the wall.
Mercury: You'll have to do better than that
Lucifer: I shall fool.
The spear shoots out four spikes and electricity archs across Mercuries form, he
begins to loose cohesion and sink to the ground.
Meanwhile, Lucifer lanches another spear from his left arm at Cicuit Breaker who
lets it pas in through like Mercury did, but then quickly moves away before the
next part can happen. The two heads emit beams of hell fire one of which hits
Circuit Breaker this time and the other Nightstalker, throwing them into the
wall. Lucifers back hands throw a flaming net at the charging Phantom who goes
down in a scream of agony.
Highlander, Transformer and Spirit are the only ones left standing.
A small image appears infront of Lucifer, it is the demonic representation that
Dante made of Spirit.
Lucifer: Are you ready to be molded into your new form Spirit?
Transformer: You sick fragger!!!
Transformer turns into a silvery tank and blasts a huge round into Lucifer.
Lucifers body moves under the impact and but all the effect it had was to leave
a black scorching mark on the skin. Lucifer looks back at the young decker and
just laughs as nonchalauntly throws a bolt of hellish fire at the him.
Suddenly, Highlander is diving in the way trying to absorb the blow with his
coat, it strikes him in the back and throws both of them into the wall to sink
down into a scorched huddle on the floor.
Lucifer: Your fate awaits you.
Spirit: No, I don't believe so, not yet.
With that a small fairy appears between the pair and sings out a pure and
melodious song.
Lucifer: And what was that supposed to do?
Circuit Breaker: Help heal the others.
From Lucifers side CB suddenly appear with forearm blades extended and plunging
into his rib. Lucifer screams in pain as the other deckers begin to regain
their feet. He then reaches down with his second set of arms and catches hold
of the dodging CB. She tries to struggle and break free but Lucifer gets hold
of her with his other arms and pulls. There is a tremendous tearing sound and
Lucifer tosses away the torn form of Circuit Breaker, it disapates as it hits
the ground.
Lucifer: I gave you a chance.
Spirit: SO did I
You notice now that each of the other deckers is spaced evenly around Lucifer.
Lucifer: You can't hurt me, I am too powerful!!! Soon I shall split and infect
another system in a different city. I think It will be Renraku Seattle, it
should have the power I need!!!
Spirit: Now
Lucifer laughs expecting another ineffective physical assault, for any physical
assault would be. Suddenly a shimmering, howling static forms around the
surprised Lucifer. He tries to move away but it has him in it grip. He is soon
engulfed by the collumn of Cascade IC
Nightstalker: Hmm, so thats what Cascade ICE looks like from this side.
Highlander: Circuit breaker?
Spirit: I don't know. It will have to wait, we have phase two to do now.
Get back to the formation and use the links to help me. We are going to do a
bit of reprograming.
The collumn begins to change, before it shimmering and howled, now it swirls in
rainbow patterns and hums. Finally it all stops and the collumn disapates.
Lucifer is crumpled upon the ground, but he has changed. His face is still the
same as before, but as once it was characterized by cruelty it is now filled
with light. Wings have formed on his back instead of another Lucifer. He is
also now dressed all in white. Lucifer stands up.
Lucifer: It is now time to be rid of this demonic host. Either they will come
to my side or be destroyed. Then all shall be set right.
The door to the room bursts open and the demons rush in. Some are incinerated
by the light from lucifer, while others are changed into angelic forms.
The battle is soon over and Lucifer leaves with his hosts.
Highlander: Nice poetic effect lass, Lucifer fell from grace and is now risen
once more.
Nightstalker: I wish I could see the look that would be on Dante's face at this
moment. It would be worth seeing.
Transformer: But what will he do now?
Spirit: He will clean up the damage the original version and viruses did. His
host will spread until they clean up the area, then they too will vanish.
Lucifer will also disapate after a time, but not until what he has done is
reversed.
Spirit: Its time to go home.
The deckers disappear one by one, the last to go being Mercury who tosses the
keys to the CPU back in their bin.
Mercury: Maybe I should thank them, we never would have succeeded without Fuchi
giving us sys access to this CPU. I guess the fact that they will not be
blaimed evens us out.
