That rather coincides with the Truman Tech info that I picked up earlier.
Why, you ask, would you send this stuff to Chicago? Any number of reasons.
First and foremost, field testing. It would be, I think, illegal to test
such a thing on human or metahuman subjects, unless said subjects have
already been conveniently swept under the rug by the powers that be. Not
only *can* you test on the people of Chicago, but the people of Chicago would
likely *want* you to test it on them. They would probably jump at anything
that would provide them even the tiniest possibility of extra power against
the bug spirits. It seems logical to me anyway. I'm still not sure about
the BioMed/Truman Tech connection, though. What in the blue blazes would TT
want with prescribed biologics? Are they delving into a new avenue of
research? I'm not sure what they could . . . oh geez, I just had a scary
thought. Is there any way that TT could duplicate the effects of Red 6 in a
short term BTL chip or some reasonable facsimile thereof? That's kinda
scary. Just in case we don't have enough wacko homicidal techno-geeks
roaming the streets already. This kind of crap drives me CRAZY. Well Tanp,
it looks like we're takin' a trip to Chicago so fire up the ol' truckster and
I'll bring the munchies.]<<<<<

>>>>>[Uncertain at this time. I'll keep checking. I have some magical
assistants in the matrix who will check around as well. It would appear, my
friend, that Mr. Carter Manheim has struck some sort of deal with Truman
Tech. For what, I don't know. It is my guess that Mr. Manheim is the one
putting up the bounty. In the end, it will likely cost him less than the
amount that he said he was going to pay you. From his point of view, he is
getting you to do the job he hired you for, killing you (thus no witnesses),
and paying someone to kill you for less money than you were promised. A
rather tidy deal, no? Stay on your toes. There has been a lot of activity
in and around BioMed's corner of the matrix. I'll be in touch.]<<<<<
