And the pyro I was talking about used lots of explosives and bullets. If your
magic can handle that, well, oo-kaay.
If you've watched the news, you'll know a whole bunch of violent people got
killed last night. Looks like a Banshee with missile launcher and machine
guns. Lots of carnage. Whee. Don't know which of the previously mentioned
loonies that was, or if it was someone totally different. Either way, one
less problem in this city.
About the others... someone was forming a group to go after the Evil
Breakfast Product Club. Civic-minded person that I am, I'd volunteer to help,
but slugging it out face-to-chrome with lots of whacked-out killer
cyber-Toastee-Pops (TM) just isn't in my job description and they'd probably
turn me into jam.
There's Commander Paul Drake of Interpol, your basic honest, straight-arrow,
dedicated Good Cop (TM) with absolutely *no* sense of humor. Too bad it looks
like he currently has to take orders from Aztechnology. No help *there*.
There's always Lone Star, I guess... Rumor has it that Lone Star Seattle has
the highest rate of officer losses from deaths, transfers, and retirements of
any Lone Star branch in North America. Must be real fun being a cop in this
town. Maybe that's why they're so triggerhappy.]<<<<<
