The view opens on a small group in an alleyway somewhere in hell.
Renraku security drones passing by seem to miss the party. A moment
passes, the group sweating(looks like about four to five people, but the
camera keeps looking away) looks expectantly at an apparent elf, slightly
hairier than most, but hey. He signals the OK, and a door opens into
a security hallway.
The camera(you realize its an eyecam, someone must have some
cybereyes! WOW) seems to be showing a smartlink hookup, full clip on a
pistol(Hmmm, violence?) of some kind. As they enter the doorway, a few
muffled shots are heard, and the security team inside falls dead. As the
team enters the door, no alarms sound(decker hookups?) and they advance
steadily. A voice is heard over the radio(Phobos) "Left, the straight a
few secs, then your imm. right". The team moves foreward, the elf in the
middle. The rest of the group looks somewhat average. Two elves, and
three humans, plus an Eagle shaman and the cybereye. After a brief struggle
with a second sec team that was caught unawares, they enter another
hallway, much like the first. The two elves break off left, the humans
right, and the elf in the middle seems to be giving orders, "elves left,
hums right, me and the shaman down the center, we'll meet on the other
side of the building as planned." Phobos replies, "the sec is down, ran
into another decker, interesting guy, seems to have lived in this system
all his life, go figure!" Blademaster(the slightly more hairy elf)
replies"Fine, just get the job done and lets get outta here." the humans
and elves break off down the corridor they entered, they reach an
intersection and break left and right, respectively. Blademaster and
Phoinex and Forte continue down. After the sounds of gunfire, unmuffled,
and a few screams, the teams to the left and right return. Blademaster
and Phoinex move to the side of the hallway, while the two teams to the
left and right converge in the center, fighting off their respective sec
teams. Blademaster throws some spell(manaball) down the corridor to the
left and the sec team that way drops. The elves thank him, and the humans
grumble. Then they proceed to the left. After making a few turns, they
converge on a doorway in the middle of the hallway. They set up, and
enter as the door opens, firing and casting. Inside is Ronin, unconsious
and strapped to a surgical table, with various gizmos and gadgets just
waiting to strip his flesh and bones to nothing. The doctors look up from
their work, startled. Blademaster says "Put if back the way you found it,
or die trying" Forte enters the hallway again, firing an FN-Mag down the
hallway, screams are heard, and Forte is hit, bad. He falls in the
doorway and the elves rush out. The humans follow and soon a grand fight
seem to be happening right outside the door. The doctors proceed to put
some systems back, then say they can't work anymore, because the bioware
takes time, and can only regrow with time. Blademaster walks over,
pulling back the hood for a better look. Then heals Ronin with a spell of
some sort. Ronin awakes, and the team grabs him and runs. Blademaster
stops, noticing a doctor looking at him, eyes wide(well, wider than the
rest of them). The doc scream "Dr. HEJSDDS, what are you doing with this
rabble, you'll be shot dead when the security teams arrive! What are you
doing?" Blademaster moves over, and breathes a quiet fraze into the mans
ear. The man turns white and keels over onto the table. The other doctors
begin to run, and Blademaster pulls a large sword from the seeming
nothingness under his cloak. As he does so, he cuts down two doctors as
they turn to flee. The others fall easily. Forte appears in the door,
looks down, and says "Hmmm, messy! Lets move, no time for a cleaning crew!"
As the camera moves out the door, several shots riddle his body. The rest
of the team moves swiftly down the hall. Blademaster grabs the body and
runs with them. As they reach the door, a drone intercepts them, blowing
two humans into piles of grey mush as its twin rotary cannons fire away.
Blademaster uses a spell on the drone, and suddenly it explodes. Phoinex
throws up a barrier at the end of the hallway, and the door opens. As
they run out into the night, you hear the screams of the sec teams as
another drone rounds the corner, this one under the control of someone
else apparently. The rest of the team grabs the elves and runs. Forte
looks pretty bad, and sits down heavilly in the vehicle. As Blademaster
realizes he's been hit, he scream "What the hell?! why didn't you say
something back there!?!" and moves over to heal him. Phoinex is the last
to enter the car, and Blademaster throws up a barrier on the doorway, as
it closes. Once inside the van, Blademaster moves to heal the elves, and
pronounces one beyond his skills. The rest move silently to his side, and
offer small thanks to their fallen comrade. The camera goes blank.

Well, I lost two friends to get you back Ronin, hope you can stay for a
while. As for Renraku, The camera footage from their sec cameras was
turned off(good work Phobos) and tey don't know who hit them. Magical
analysis and my humble opinion is that Renrakuu doesn't know what hit
them, much less where you are Ronin. Sorry about the bioware, but
somethings are beyond even my abilities. As for the docs, if anyone
thought they heard the name, forget it. You don't want me to get mad.
Payment is in your accounts, and dead reparations are made. Runs over, go
home and sleep it off(if you haven't already).]<<<<<
